Contrariamente, el consumo de huevos es aún bajo en el país

Aproximadamente 50 por ciento de la población en Perú prefiere comer la carne de pollo frente a otras, según un estudio de Arellano Marketing.

El estudio reveló que la gente prefiere esta carne debido a su menor precio, a que se pueden preparar diversos platos, su buen sabor, y que es un producto fresco y saludable.

Sin embargo, el consumo de huevo es aún es bajo en el país: se consume por persona 150 huevos al año. Ello se debe en gran parte a las falsas creencias sobre el valor nutricional del huevo, según Rolando Arellano, presidente de Arellano.
