Cumbre de influenza aviar de Ceva en México

Casi mil millones de dosis de vacuna se han aplicado en la avicultura mexicana desde la crisis de 2012.

El 13 de junio, Ceva realizará su Cumbre de Influenza Aviar en México: "Soluciones modernas de vacunación y su valor para la industria avícola: control de la excreción y protección de amplio espectro".

El sector avícola mexicano es muy dinámico y se ha recuperado después del 2012, cuando la industria fue prácticamente devastada por la influenza aviar.

Actualmente, produce más de un 60 por ciento de la proteína animal del país. Más aún, México es la capital del huevo a nivel mundial, con un consumo per cápita de 22.2 kg por año: un huevo por persona al día. Desafortunadamente, la industria sigue afectada por la influenza aviar.

Desde 2012, Ceva ha trabajado con el gobierno para vacunar contra la influenza aviar contra el virus H5N2 y contra el H7N3. Desde entonces, se han utilizado cerca de mil millones de dosis de vacuna.

Ceva trabaja con muchos socios en todo el mundo para reducir la amenaza que las zoonosis le imponen a la salud pública global.

Las acciones tomadas en México son un ejemplo probado de cómo los veterinarios y todos los participantes de la industria pueden trabajar juntos para lograr el enfoque de Una Salud. Esto es lo que exactamente Ceva quiere decir con el slogan, “Juntos, más allá de la salud animal”.
