Brasil Foods adquiere un tercio de Avex

La transacción permite a la empresa brasileña expandir el negocio en Argentina

Brasil Foods SA adquirió un tercio de los accionistas minoritarios de Avex SA, y a través de Avex, adquirió la participación restante en las empresas Flora Danica SA, Flora San Luis SA y GB Dan SA (Grupo Danica), todos con sede en Argentina.

La transacción se completará dentro de 90 días, en los términos del contrato que se formalizó entre las partes y prevé una inversión de US$40.5 millones.

Esta transacción permitirá a Brasil Foods integrar sus negocios en Argentina, incluyendo las operaciones de Quickfoods (adquirida en julio), así como para obtener sinergias para el negocio integrado.
