La empresa Century Packing Corp., establecimiento ubicado en Las Piedras, Puerto Rico, tiene que retirar del mercado aproximadamente 999,419 libras de salchicha de pollo procesadas térmicamente y con esterilización comercial, debido a un error en la etiqueta del producto. Los productos contienen glutamato monosódico (MSG), el cual no se declaró en las etiquetas del producto, anunció hoy el Servicio de Inocuidad e Inspección de Alimentos del Departamento de Agricultura (FSIS, por sus siglas en inglés).
